East Cesar Chavez Alley Activation and Parklet Demonstration

This is an example of a project I am currently working on along the East Cesar Chavez Street corridor. This is part of a larger effort to bring pedestrian friendly infrastructure to the street.

The images below depict a site plan for a proposed demonstration project for micro retail parklet and alley activation demonstration which we plan to host Nov. 16 and 17 in accordance with EAST Austin Studio tours.

Darn Good Places: Concept-East Cesar Chavez Alley Activation and Parklet Demonstration

Main purpose of the project was to activate the alley that ran parallel to the main street in Downtown (S Elm St) so all microshops would be accessed from the alley and range in size up to 500 SF

Proposed entrance from S Elm St in Downtown Greensboro. Concept came from an alley coffee shop in Cincinnati, Ohio
